Vestry Minutes
January 11, 2026
Attendees: Fr. David Wilcox, Steve Hirtzel, Paul Patrick, Cyndi Troyer, Gabriel Sparks, Chris Butler, Linda Wallace, Kim Gerhardt, Karen Hauswald, Penny Krupp.
Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Fr. David Wilcox at 1:25 p.m.
Appointments and Elections:
- Fr. David appointed Steve Hirtzel to serve as Senior Warden.
- Steve Hirtzel nominated Paul Patrick to serve as Junior Warden. Mr. Patrick accepted the nomination and was elected by acclamation.
- Fr. David nominated Cyndi Troyer to serve an additional year as Treasurer. Ms. Troyer accepted the nomination and was elected by acclamation.
- Gabriel Sparks volunteered to serve as clerk of the vestry and was elected by acclamation.
Banking Signatories: Cyndi Troyer informed the Vestry of the need for a fourth authorized signer on the church accounts. Chris Butler agreed to serve as a signer, joining Cyndi Troyer, Steve Hirtzel, and Paul Patrick.
Safe Church Requirements: Fr. David informed newly elected Vestry members that they are required to complete Safe Church training and a diocesan background check. A link will be sent.
Next Meeting: The next Vestry meeting will be a Vestry Retreat held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026.
Adjournment: Paul Patrick moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion was seconded by Cyndi Troyer. The motion carried. Fr. David adjourned the meeting at 1:33 p.m.
