For Us and Our Salvation: An Advent Study on the Nicene Creed
This Advent, join us for a four-week series exploring the heart of Christian faith through the words of the Nicene Creed. As we await the coming of Christ, we will reflect on what it means to confess Jesus as “God from God, Light from Light” and to proclaim that “for us and for our salvation he came down from heaven.” Together, we’ll deepen our understanding of this ancient confession, discover its meaning for our lives today, and prepare our hearts to receive the mystery of the Incarnation anew.
The class will meet on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm, both in person and online. Those attending in person are invited to come early and share in a light soup supper. Come and be nourished by scripture, conversation, and prayer as we journey toward Christmas with the Church’s faith on our lips and Christ’s hope in our hearts.
