The Mediator of a New Covenant: Jesus and the Old Testament
A Study of the Letter to the Hebrews
Date: Wednesdays, October 14-November 18th
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Location: Online via Google MeetÂ
The first Christians were steeped in the Hebrew Bible and the sacrificial system of the Second Temple. Who did they think Jesus was? Did they abandon their ancestral faith? How did they understand Jesus in relation to their history? Written on the eve of the destruction of the Temple, the anonymous Letter to the Hebrews gives us a glimpse of one Jewish Christian’s plea to his fellow believers to remain faithful to Christ. Join us as we look through First Century eyes at the mystery of Christ and the New Covenant made for all peoples.
