2026 Stewardship Campaign

Dear Friends in Christ,

I am pleased to introduce the 2026 Stewardship Campaign. This year’s theme, “Called to Grow, Called to Give,” reminds us that growth and giving go hand in hand. As we grow in faith, hope, and love, we are inspired to give, and as we give our time, prayers, and resources, we create the conditions for growth to continue.

Everything we have comes from God, and giving is our way of offering back a portion of those gifts. Over the past year, our parish has flourished. New members have joined our worshiping community. Children and youth are being nurtured in formation programs that have been strengthened and renewed . Our outreach ministries continue to serve our neighbors with compassion. Fellowship and study groups strengthen our bonds of community, showing how generosity bears fruit far beyond what we can see.

This year, St. Mary Magdalene is setting a clear stewardship goal for the first time in recent years. This goal of $170,564 is more than a number. It is a statement of faith, a sign that we trust God’s call to grow and are ready to give to make that growth possible.

On the page below,  you will find this years stewardship materials.  I invite you to prayerfully consider how God is calling you to grow and give through worship, study, fellowship, and financial support. On Sunday, November 23rd, we will bring our pledges to the altar, joining them with the gifts of bread and wine as signs of thanksgiving and hope. Just as these gifts are transformed in Christ, so too are our offerings multiplied by God for the good of our parish and community.

Friends, God is calling us to grow. God is calling us to give. May we answer that call with faith, joy, and trust in the One who remains our cornerstone and sure foundation.

Yours in Christ,

Fr. David

Pillars of Mission & Ministry

At St. Mary Magdalene, our budget reflects more than numbers. It reflects our mission and our shared commitment to grow in faith, love, and service. Every dollar is invested in the ministries that make our parish a vibrant, welcoming community. Our work is organized around four pillars each representing a vital part of our mission and ministry.

These pillars guide our stewardship, showing how your generosity transforms into meaningful ministry. Together, we sustain and strengthen the life of our parish while preparing for the future God calls us to build.

Explore how each pillar shapes our parish life and how your gifts make a difference.

Growing in Worship

Worship is the heartbeat of our parish. It is here that we gather week by week to offer thanks and praise, to hear the Word proclaimed, to celebrate the Sacraments, and to be renewed for service in the world. Worship is where we encounter the living God and are shaped as followers of Jesus. .

Growing in Faith

Formation is where faith takes root and grows. It is how we come to know God more deeply and discern how to live out our faith as disciples of Jesus in the world. In 2026, we are strengthening our commitment to lifelong Christian formation by investing in children, youth, and adult ministries

Growing in Community

St. Mary Magdalene is a church where people find belonging. In 2026, we are investing in ministries that build and strengthen community, both within and beyond our walls. These investments support hospitality, leadership, and diocesan partnerships that connect us to the wider Church.

Growing in Care for our Church Home

Our church campus is a sacred trust, a gift that allows every other ministry to flourish. In 2026, we continue to strengthen our stewardship of these physical resources by maintaining our facilities, meeting financial commitments, and ensuring our spaces remain welcoming for all.

Make a Pledge

Every gift helps sustain and grow the ministry of St. Mary Magdalene. Your generosity makes possible the worship, formation, fellowship, and stewardship that define our parish life. There are several ways to make your pledge or contribution.

Online Giving

You can make a one-time or recurring gift securely online through PayPal. It’s an easy way to support the parish, whether you’re at home or away. To make an online contribution visit www.marymag.com/donate.

Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs)

If you are age 70½ or older, you can make a gift directly from your IRA to St. Mary Magdalene. A Qualified Charitable Distribution allows you to give to the church while potentially reducing your taxable income.

Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs)

Those age 73 and older who are required to take annual distributions from retirement accounts can designate all or part of their RMD as a charitable contribution to the parish. This is a meaningful and tax-efficient way to support the ministries you value.

However you choose to give, online, by check, or through your retirement distributions, your generosity helps us live into our calling to grow and to give.

Thank you for supporting the mission and ministry of St. Mary Magdalene.
