Meet the clergy and staff of St. Mary Magdalene. We welcome you to our church and invite you to learn more about who we are and what we do.
Clergy & Staff Members

As Rector of St. Mary Magdalene, Father David serves as our pastor, priest, and teacher, equipping us for the work of ministry.
A Kansas City native, Fr. David earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Missouri–Kansas City and a Master of Divinity from the School of Theology at the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. He began his ministry at St. Mary Magdalene in January 2025 after serving on the Diocesan staff as Missioner for Youth Ministry.
Beyond his parish responsibilities, Fr. David serves as Dean of the Central Deanery, Convener of the Diocesan Spiritual Formation Commission, and a member of the College and Young Adult Commission. He is passionate about the Gospel, formation, coffee, history, little-known (and less cared about) information. He lives in Belton with his husband, Zach, and their dogs, Ollie and Pixie.
To get in touch with Fr. David, please call the parish office or email him at frdavidwilcox@gmail.com.
