Spring Into Service: Volunteer Opportunities at St. Mary Mag
Spring has finally arrived, and we’re gearing up for the season’s promise of growth and renewal here at St. Mary Mag! On Saturday, March 15, a small but dedicated group of volunteers came together to prepare the raised beds in the Community Garden for planting. Their hard work is setting the stage for a fruitful season, but there’s still much to be done – and you can help!
There are many ways you can lend a hand outdoors, from tending to the Community Garden to sprucing up the landscaping around our church. Whether you’re interested in maintaining the garden, mowing the lawn, or helping with general landscaping, there’s no shortage of tasks to ensure our space stays beautiful, functional, and welcoming for our wider community.
Join Our Mowing Team!
We’re still looking for volunteers to join our Mowing Team. We have a state-of-the-art riding mower ready to go – all we need are volunteers like you! If you’d like to help keep our grounds looking pristine, please contact Steve or Don to sign up.
Support Our Landscaping Fund
A dedicated parishioner is already maintaining the beautiful plantings around the front door and along the road sign, creating a warm welcome for visitors and passersby. Now, we’re establishing a fund to help purchase additional flowers and plants for the property. If you’d like to support this effort, please consider making a donation. Simply designate any amount you contribute in the collection as a donation to the landscaping fund.
Let’s work together to keep St. Mary Mag a place of beauty and service to all who enter. Thank you for your support – and we look forward to seeing you out there!
