We invite you to participate in a Lenten Book Study on Life in Christ: Practicing Christian Spirituality by the Rev. Dr. Julia Gatta, professor of Pastoral Theology at the School of Theology of the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee.

Applying her years of experience as pastor and spiritual director combined with her study of the spiritual wisdom of the past, Mother Gatta explores common Christian practices and their underlying theology through an Episcopal lens. In doing so she seeks to help Episcopalians come to a deeper understanding of the traditions and liturgies of the 1979 Book of Common Prayer so that they can center their spiritual lives around Baptism and the Holy Eucharist and deepen their relationship with the Lord Jesus.
