St. Mary Magdalene will hold worship services every Sunday, barring catastrophe. Weather will not ordinarily deter the priest or an assigned layperson from offering the Eucharist or Morning Prayer.
Non-worship events will be canceled based on the local school system schedule. If Belton public schools are closed because of the weather, non-worship events, meetings and classes, and other scheduled SMM programs will be canceled or moved online.
All are encouraged to make a decision to attend services based on their comfort levels and good judgment for safety. Wherever two or three of us gather, we will have church.
If a church service is canceled due to inclement weather, it will be noted on our front page as soon as the decision has been made.
