Whether you prefer a traditional Bible study, a conversation on a current best seller or a class on a particular topic, there are regular formation opportunities available to you here at St. Mary Magdalene. Our discussions are riveted and intertwined with Christian teaching that will help you deepen you faith and live it out in your daily life.
Lectio Divina (contemplative Bible Study) meets every Sunday at 9:15 a.m. before the service in the small classroom. We’ll go through reading the Gospel for that day and looking for what message it holds for each of us.
The Daughters of the King are an organization for women in the Episcopal Church dedicated to prayer, service, and evangelism that fosters lifelong discipleship. The Daughter’s of the King meet on the third Sunday of the month following the Holy Eucharist
Coffee & Questions is an informal time where nothing is off limits. This offering is a space for honest conversation about belief, practice, and the Episcopal tradition based on the questions you have. Whether you’re new to the Church or a lifelong Episcopalian, this is a space to ask, learn, and grow together. It is offered once every other month on Sunday after worship.
Confirmation Classes are offered regularly, in conjunction with the Bishop’s visit, to prepare those who desire to be confirmed, received or make a reaffirmation to make a public declaration of their commitment to Jesus Christ and the faith of the Church.
Additional Adult classes, are typically offered during Advent, and Lent.
All of our Formation offerings are designed as opportunities for us deepen our faith to hold each other up as we navigate the places where our faith, life and relationships intersect.
