Children are absolutely vital to the life of our church and we incorporate them into our worship as early as possible. Passing our life of faith on to the next generation is a key priority of St. Mary Magdalene. We invite you to bring your entire family to join us!

Children’s Education
Sunday Morning Children's Chapel and Classes
We are currently working to add members to our Sunday School Team. If we have two members available, your children will be supervised by certified volunteers in our Sunday School Classroom. Our objective with these children is very simple: to help them feel comfortable and secure in church and to feel God’s love for them through the hands and hearts of loving volunteers. We strive to make the first encounter children have in church a warm, supportive experience, where kids feel safe and loved. Otherwise, they are welcome to join us in the service. We love the sound of children’s voices!
We also have a room at the back of the church, equipped with seating and toys, and a sound feed from the service so that you can be a part of the service while still having some privacy.
Adult Formation
Whether you prefer a traditional Bible study or a conversation on a current best seller, our discussions are riveted and intertwined with Christian teaching that will make your faith fresh and relevant for your daily life.
Think about Ecclesiastes 4:12, “By yourself you’re unprotected. With a friend you can face the worst. Can you round up a third? A three-stranded rope isn’t easily snapped.” We, too, need to hold each other up.
You are invited to engage in Lectio Divina every Sunday at 9:15 a.m. before the service in the small classroom. We’ll go through reading the Gospel for that day and looking for what message it holds for each of us.
We also have a Women’s Book Club where a current novel is discussed every month,
Additional Adult classes, typically during Lent and Advent, are designed as opportunities for us to hold each other up as we navigate the places where our faith, life and relationships intersect. Check the weekly bulletin or The Call to find an opportunity that works for you!
