2026 Annual Meeting Recap

For those who were unable to attend the Annual Meeting, several important updates were shared.

The parish continues to experience healthy growth in worship and participation. Average Sunday Attendance increased over the past year, with strong attendance at Christmas and Easter, and a high level of involvement across parish ministries. New formation opportunities were introduced this year, including a youth group, new Sunday School curriculum and the return of a Christmas Pageant, in addition to several opportunities for adult formation.

The Treasurer presented the 2026 budget, which reflects increased financial stability. The parish received a $300,000 grant from the Diocese that allowed for a significant reduction of the mortgage principal. Combined with increased pledging and careful stewardship, this has lowered the monthly mortgage payment and made it possible to increase funding for key ministries, including clergy leadership, music, youth ministry, and formation. Thirty-two pledges were received, and the parish is projecting a small surplus in 2026.

Several initiatives are planned for the coming year. These include the launch of The Path Bible study, weekday Eucharists for major Feasts of the Lord, a revamped Welcome Committee, and periodic Introduction to Episcopal Christianity classes, alongside the continuation of ministries introduced this past year.

The following members were elected by acclamation to serve on the Vestry with terms expiring in 2029: Chris Butler, Gabriel Sparks, and Linda Wallace.

Cyndi Troyer and Gabriel Sparks were elected by acclamation to serve as diocesan convention delegates.

Updates were also shared regarding parish security, with new cameras installed on the property. The meeting concluded with gratitude for the strong foundation being set for the year ahead.
